Senior Center Feasibility Study

RECOMMENDATION

That the Parks, Recreation and Human Services Commission support the scope of services outlined for the Senior Center Feasibility Study.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

The City received funding through the Fiscal Year 2022/23 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) cycle to prepare a Feasibility Study for the existing Brea Senior Center, currently located in southwest Brea. The next step of this process is to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) in order to seek a qualified consultant to lead this study.

At the October 26, 2022, Commission meeting, staff will present the proposed scope of services that will be required of the selected consultant and seek support to move forward with the RFP.
