Approval of the 2023 Annual Parks, Recreation and Human Services Commission Goals

RECOMMENDATION

That the Parks, Recreation and Human Services Commission approve the 2023 Annual Goals Matrix as presented.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

At the October 26, 2022, Commission meeting, staff presented a draft of the 2023 Annual Commission Goals. After thorough discussion, staff has prepared a final document for the Commission to approve. This final draft includes a note on whether each item is funded or unfunded, as requested by the Commission.

Also included as an attachment is a list of additional Commissioner recommended goals that were submitted indiviudually. Many have been incorporated in the final goals document, but if the Commission wishes to have further discussion at the meeting and collectively agree to add any other items to the final list they may do so.
