Establish a Cultural Arts Master Plan Ad Hoc Committee

RECOMMENDATION

Appoint two Commissioners to serve on an Ad Hoc Committee through the duration of the Cultural Arts Master Plan development.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

As part of the FY 22-23 Budget Cycle, City Council authorized funding for Brea's first ever Cultural Arts Master Plan. Staff has begun work on the project including issuing a Request for Proposals to select a consultant, and ultimately selecting Arts Orange County to lead the project efforts.

At this time, staff would recommend the Cultural Arts Commission establish a focused Ad Hoc Committee of two members to work closely with staff on the development of the Master Plan.
