On Tuesday, August 24, 2021, the Planning Commission of the City of Brea held a duly noticed public hearing, as required by law, on General Plan Amendment No. GPA 2021-03 to update the General Plan Safety Element. Public notice for this item was provided through the Orange County Register on August 12, 2021. After a staff presentation, the Planning Commission opened the public hearing, heard testimony, and unanimously voted to continue this item to a special meeting on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Duly noticed items continued to a date certain do not require additional public notice. The August 24, 2021 staff report and attachments for this item are included as Attachment A.
The General Plan Amendment is herein referenced to as the “Project” or “Element.”
