PURSUANT TO THE LOCAL EMERGENCY CONCERNING THE COVID-19 VIRUS DECLARED BY THE BREA CITY COUNCIL ON MARCH 19, 2020 AND EXECUTIVE ORDER N-29-20 ISSUED BY GOVERNOR GAVIN NEWSOM ON MARCH 18, 2020, THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING STUDY SESSION WILL BE CONDUCTED TELEPHONICALLY VIA THE ZOOM TELECONFERENCING PLATFORM. THESE GUIDELINES MAY BE UPDATED UP TO AND DURING THE MEETING AS NEEDED TO IMPLEMENT GUIDANCE AND DIRECTION FROM FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES.
  
Procedures for Addressing the Commission 
The Commission encourages public participation during Public Hearings and under Matters from the Audience. State Law prohibits the Commission from responding to or acting upon matters not listed on this agenda.
  • Written comments must be to the Planning Division at planning@cityofbrea.net no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.  The email subject line should state: "Brea Planning Commission Meeting” followed by the number of the relevant agenda item and/or “Non-Agenda Item.” Summaries of all written comments will be read during the meeting by City Staff.
  • To provide comments by teleconference, members of the public must contact City Staff at (714) 990-7674 or planning@cityofbrea.net no later than 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 to obtain the Zoom Meeting ID number.  Teleconference participants will be muted until recognized at the appropriate time by the Commission.
  • To watch the meeting via Zoom, members of the public must contact City Staff at (714) 990-7674 or planning@cityofbrea.net no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 to obtain the Zoom Meeting ID number.
