Cultural Arts Commission Annual Goal Kickoff 
RECOMMENDATION
The Cultural Arts Commission annually adopts goals to guide staff and Cultural Arts programming for the upcoming year. The current goals are as follows:
 
  1. Community – Connect our Community through the Arts
  2. History – Uphold Brea’s Commitment to the Arts
  3. Communication – Engage New Audiences through Inclusive Opportunities and Experiences
  4. Economy – Pursue Sustainability and Stimulate Local Economies
  5. Quality – Elevate Brea’s Art Experiences
 
Staff will provide an outline on the timing for this year’s goal review and adoption, which may be structured as follows:
  • September 2023 – Annual Goal Kickoff
     
  • October 2023 – Review 2022/2023 programming accomplishments and interests of the Commission for 2023/2024
     
  • November 2023 – Adopt 2023/2024 Cultural Arts Commission Goals
