This agenda contains a brief general description of each item the Committee will consider. Copies of written documentation relating to each item of business on this Agenda are on file and available for public inspection in the Civic Center Lobby located on Level 3 of the Civic & Cultural Center. Materials related to an item on this agenda submitted to the commission after distribution of the agenda packet are available for public inspection at the Public Works Department in the Civic Center Lobby located on Level 3 of the Civic & Cultural Center.

PURSUANT TO THE LOCAL EMERGENCY CONCERNING THE COVID-19 VIRUS DECLARED BY THE BREA CITY COUNCIL ON MARCH 19, 2020 AND EXECUTIVE ORDER N-29-20 ISSUED BY GOVERNOR GAVIN NEWSOM ON MARCH 18, 2020, THE TRAFFIC COMMITTEE MEETING WILL BE CONDUCTED VIA THE ZOOM TELECONFERENCING PLATFORM. THESE GUIDELINES MAY BE UPDATED UP TO AND DURING THE MEETING AS NEEDED TO IMPLEMENT GUIDANCE AND DIRECTION FROM FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES


Procedures for Addressing the Committee The Committee encourages public participation during Public Meetings and under Matters from the Audience. State Law prohibits the Committee from responding to or acting upon matters not listed on this agenda. To limit the spread the COVID-19 virus, the Executive Conference Room will not be open to the public. Public comments will be accepted in in writing. The meeting will also be via Zoom teleconferencing platform.
 
Written comments must be to the Engineering Division at christyd@cityofbrea.net no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. The email subject line should state: "Brea Traffic Committee Meeting" followed by the number of the relevant agenda item and/or "Non-Agenda Item." Summaries of all written comments will be read during the meeting by City Staff.

Procedures for Addressing the Committee
The Committee encourages free expression of all points of view. For record keeping purposes, if you wish to make a statement regarding any item on the agenda, please complete the form located on the podium and deposit it with the secretary. To allow all persons the opportunity to speak, please keep your remarks limited to five (5) minutes. If others have already expressed your position, you may simply indicate that you agree with a previous speaker. If appropriate, a spokesperson may present the views of your entire group. Committee rules prohibit clapping, booing or shouts of approval or disagreement from the audience. PLEASE SILENCE ALL PAGERS, CELL PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT WHILE COMMISSION IS IN SESSION.
